We're an independent consultancy built around AML and regulatory compliance for electronic money institutions, payment firms and fintech founders — and we carry that same rigour into licensing, licence brokering, technical vendor selection, product strategy, recruitment and partnerships.
Our advisors have sat on the board of an FCA-authorised EMI, so the guidance we give is built from operating a licensed entity, not just reading about one.
EMI & PSP licensing and AML supervision under the Financial Conduct Authority.
A common EU base for EMI/PI licensing, with passporting across the bloc.
EMI and investment-firm licensing for cross-border payment and trading models.
AML supervision via a FINMA-recognised SRO, or a Fintech licence above threshold.
Extending an existing EMI/PI licence across EU member states without a fresh application.
Licences get suspended, partnerships get pulled and rounds get delayed far more often over an undocumented AML control or a missed SRO renewal than over a feature gap. We built this firm around that reality: compliance isn't a box to tick after the fact, it's the thing that decides whether the rest of your fintech project is allowed to keep running. Every other service we offer — licensing, product, partnerships, recruitment — is designed to protect that same foundation.
From your first AML policy to your first regulator audit, from a licence application to a technical vendor RFP — we plug in wherever you need an independent expert who has done this before.

View case studies →Switzerland doesn't regulate payment and AML-exposed activity the way the UK or EU does. Most financial intermediaries need to affiliate with a FINMA-recognised Self-Regulatory Organisation (SRO) — such as VQF, PolyReg or ARIF — under the Anti-Money Laundering Act, rather than hold a standalone "licence" in the EMI sense. Above certain thresholds, a direct FINMA Fintech licence or banking licence may apply instead. We help founders and entities understand which route actually applies to them — and are equally comfortable telling you what SRO affiliation does not give you, since that point gets misrepresented often.
